Alright even though already talked about Colossal you are now going to get my point of view.

Let's just say things were busy, busy, busy.
-Making sure everything was pack (Didn't forget anything this time around)
- Getting my scar done for Mello
  ~ First day took 3 hours
  ~ Second day took 2 hours
  ~ Last day took 45 minutes

I say that's some serious progress on time....though I wouldn't know I was pass out sitting up half the time this was going on.

-Then there was preparing food...we wanted as home cooked meals as we could get....we had a stove WE'RE GONNA USE IT DANG IT!!!


So anyways then there was the actual get in our costumes bit....Leather pants are a pain when you have to use the belt to keep the pants up cuz the stupid character doesn't know how to tie the laces on his pants XP. Then pretty much had a blanket on for Matt that I made....will put up pics some point this week. And once again is white. White shirt, white pants, white socks, white shoes, EVEN white hair....yeah.....she's not aloud near (pun not included) the salsa......EVER!

Gotta say somethings at the con were fun

- Meet up with previous friends
- Got showed up by a toy.....O.o seriously how does that happen?!
- Played Death Note Mafia for the first time.
~ First round we played I ended up getting the Near card....ironic for me since I was dressed as Mello
~ Second round was completely epic. I got the Mello card and got the Near card...works since she was Near. Now Mello's power is that when everyone is asleep Kira can't kill him but he can choose to kill anyone he wants. Each time I picked someone it was Kira....there were 4 Kiras in this round. So now it's a face off with Mello, 2 Kiras, and who was Matt but they don't have a Matt card (unfair....but I'll go into that later) so she just had a random investigator card. Now I knew which card she had so from that I knew who the last 2 Kiras were. Basically we voted off one Kira and then the other Kira tried to kill me when we were all asleep....I can't be killed then so I lifted me head and pointed my gun (Prop People. I'm not that MEAN.....or AM I? hehehe) and BANG You're Dead.

     So Basically what I'm saying is this is how it should have ended.....Mello and Matt alive and kicking.....literally in Mello's case

~Now there was also a Death Note Mafia panel for more experienced players. We only played a few round previously but still thought it would be fun. Glad we went cuz there we talked to the creator of the game and may have convinced him to create a Matt card to add to the game. Now the reason there wasn't a Matt card in the game was he didn't know what power he should have since there are already enough random investigators. So I suggested that since Matt has the flare/smoke gun he could choose to delay the death of someone Kira killed until the next turn so they would have one more turn to catch Kira and then they would die. He seemed interested in that and said he heard something like that in another game and would look into it. So we're hoping that it will go though just to make our Mattie happy ^w^

- The rest of the time was just mostly walking and getting pictures taken
-Friday night we did have a Hellsing panel but we weren't too happy with how it turned out but the audience seemed to like it so I'm not going to complain too much. I was out of it for most of the panel because about a half hour before the panel I smacked my head on a light fixture since I'm too tall for my own good. So I had a headache through most of it but didn't let it slow me down too much. Plus I was getting over heated since I got use to less layers with Mello...he's a man whore...what do they need with clothes? .....Anyways moving on.... Another reason we didn't like it, is that since we weren't to interested in Hellsing at the time the information we usually know kind of froze in our brains and didn't want to come out of our mouths.



I think that was most of what happened for us at the con besides going to McDonalds on the way back home. There we meet someone from the con that explained how cons use be when there was no cosplay stores online were you could just buy your outfits. So he was impressed when we told him how much of our outfits we made....we didn't even use cosplay stores....just craft and thrift stores mostly. Thrift stores are always a cosplayer's best friend.


It was great seeing everyone and can't wait for another year for the next Colossalcon!
